Ms. Katheryn Langford

Katheryn Kate Langford was born on October 22, 1927 to the late Ms. Mary Williams of West Monroe and the late Mr. Louis Langford of Columbia, Louisiana. She was a resident of West Monroe for the majority of her life and was well known in the community. Katheryn received her education from Monroe Colored High School and worked as a waitress until she became disabled. Katheryn departed this life on November 28, 2012 at Glenwood Hospital after a lengthy illness. She leaves to mourn: 3 daughters, Mrs. Wydell Brown of Monroe, Ms. Barbara Langford of Monroe, and Ms. Belinda Langford of West Monroe, 15 grandchildren, 37 great grandchildren, 12 great, great grandchildren, her best friend Ms. Robbie Littleberry, and a host of cousins, friends, and extended family members. Preceding her in death: her mother, Ms. Mary Williams, her father, Mr. Louis Langford, a daughter, Ms. Shirley Langford, a granddaughter, Mrs. Linda McCoy, and a grandson, Mr, Kenneth Gospel.
